    The OBGYN Synopsis template opens.
  2. In the Pregnancy History section, select the Add/Update Detail button in the OBGYN Synopsis template.
    The Pregnancy Outcomes template opens.
  3. Add pregnancy outcome details in the Pregnancy history grid for each pregnancy.
    Detailed Entry/Edit on Pregnancy Outcomes

The new data is included in the pregnancy outcomes detail auto-calculation, and it assumes Status (living now or deceased) and Delivery type (NSVD or C-section) are available. For a preterm or term pregnancy, Delivery Type is a required field.
  4. For a single gestation, it is not required to update the Multiple gestation birth order field.
  5. If the pregnancy is a multiple gestation:
    1. All fetuses from the multiple gestation belong to the same pregnancy, therefore the same Pregnancy # must be used for the outcome of each of the births.
    2. After you select the Pregnancy # for example Pregnancy #1 for a first pregnancy, then select A option in the Multiple gestation birth order field for Baby A and continue adding all of the remaining details for that Baby A birth.
    3. Select Add to Grid.
    4. To enter outcomes data for Baby B, first highlight the row in the grid for Baby A then select B in the Multiple gestation birth order field and continue entering all of the remaining details for that Baby B birth.
    5. Edit only those fields that are different for Baby B (for example, birth weight, time, APGAR).
    6. Select Add to Grid.
In the Pregnancy History grid, Baby B details are available.

Continue this workflow for each fetus in the multiple gestation.
