Create New Findings for a Reason
- On the Dynamic HPI Config practice template, select a Reason.
- Click the applicable section from the Sections grid.
The standard selection type record appears in the Findings grid.
- In the Findings grid, click the Selection type field and select a value from the list.
Note: The items in the list are based on the Selection type.
- Click the Parameter field and select a value, if applicable.
Note: The only selection type that does not have a parameter is the standard selection option.
- Click the Options field and select the applicable items from the list.
Note: The Options fields are only made available for the sub-selection selection type.
- Click the Caption field to enter a caption for the finding.
The caption that you create appears in the list on a dynamic HPI template.
- Click the Finding field to enter the finding.
When you build a sentence in the dynamic HPI template, the text in the Finding field concatenates into the HPI sentence structure.
- Do one of the following:
- To copy the entered value from the Caption to the Finding field, click the Same as caption link.
- To only allow typed entries, select the Free Text check box.
On the dynamic HPI, if you select a finding that has been configured as a free text item in the configuration template, the Freetext an entry window appears. In this example, positive freetext an entry is the caption of a free-text finding. You can add a short phrase to an existing sentence. Phrases are limited to a 100 characters.
- Click the Finding Type field and select an item from the list.
Note: The Finding Type determines how the sentence appears in the dynamic HPItemplate.
- To add concatenation to the finding, do one of the following:
- To select an existing sentence from the Udp Hpi Sentences window, click the sentence and click OK.
- To open the Dynamic HPI Sentence Config template, click the Edit/Create new sentence link.
