Configure Sub Headers Without the Conditions

In the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template, you can configure sub-headers for the Past Medical History, Past Surgical History, and Family History without selecting any conditions. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand any of the following panels: Past Medical History Past Surgical History Family History Note: The fields marked with an asterisk(*) are mandatory. To configure the sub-headers for a specialty, click Specialty and select the specialty from the list. If you want the sub-header items for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. To clear the value from the Practice field and start over, click Clear. Click the Sub Header option. Note: Do not select a condition from the Condition field. To configure sub-header for a specific gender, click Gender and select a gender from the list. Click Body system name and select a body system from the list to link to the sub-header. If required, in Sub Head

Modify the Family History Conditions

The Family History panel enables you to update the family history conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. Click a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid. The grid displays family health conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Family History panel, see Filtering the Family Health History Conditions. Highlight a condition in the grid to be modified. The data appears in the fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields, and click Update. The changes are updated in the grid. Parent topic: Family Health History Conditions

Modify the Medical Conditions

In the Past Medical History panel, you can update the medical conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Past Medical History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the medical conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view medical conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. Click a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid. The grid displays medical conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Past Medical History panel, see Filter the Medical Conditions. Highlight a condition in the grid to be modified. The data populate in the fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields, and then click Update. The updated conditions appear in the grid. Remove a Surgical Condition

The Past Surgical History panel enables you to remove a surgical condition from the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Past Surgical History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the surgical conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view surgical conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. Click a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid. The grid displays surgical conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Past Surgical History panel, see Filter the Surgical Conditions. Highlight the row to be removed, and then click Remove. Filter the Family Health History Conditions

The Family History panel enables you to filter the family health history conditions in the grid using the Filter options and fields. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. To filter family health conditions in the grid, use a filter above the grid as follows: To view only the Standard and Sub header type of conditions, click Standard and Sub header Conditions. To view the sub-items of the selected sub-header, click Sub-Item and select a sub-header from the list. To view the conditions associated with the body system, click Body system name field and select a body system. The grid reloads to display data associated with the selected filter condition. Configure Management Items

Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Management Items panel. To configure the specialty-specific management items, click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. To configure the management items for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. To clear the value from the Practice field and start over, click Clear. Select Sync Specialty and practice on all panels to synchronize the selected Specialty and Practice values on the following panels: Past Medical History Past Surgical History Family History Click Management and select a management item from the list. The list includes the PMH Management items configured in the Conditions and Management Configuration panel. To configure management item for a specific gender, click Gender and select a gender from the list. Click Body system name and select a body system from the list to link to the management item.
