Modify the Family History Conditions
The Family History panel enables you to update the family history conditions in the grid.

The Family History panel enables you to remove a family health condition from the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. Click a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid. The grid displays family health conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Family History panel, see Filter the Family Health History Conditions. Highlight the row to be removed, and then click Remove. The Family History panel enables you to filter the family health history conditions in the grid using the Filter options and fields. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. To filter family health conditions in the grid, use a filter above the grid as follows: To view only the Standard and Sub header type of conditions, click Standard and Sub header Conditions. To view the sub-items of the selected sub-header, click Sub-Item and select a sub-header from the list. To view the conditions associated with the body system, click Body system name field and select a body system. The grid reloads to display data associated with the selected filter condition. The options in the run-time Family Health History template are in the same order as the conditions in the grid in the Family History panel. You can only sort or change the order of the Standard and Sub header conditions in the grid. The Sub-Items are sorted alphabetically by default. The Sort alphabetically or Change order options are not applicable for Sub-Items. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. Select the filter Standard and Sub header Conditions option above the grid. The Change order and Sort alphabetically options become available. Select the Change order option. Select a condition in the grid that you want to move. In the Past Medical History panel, you can update the medical conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Past Medical History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the medical conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view medical conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. Click a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid. The grid displays medical conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Past Medical History panel, see Filter the Medical Conditions. Highlight a condition in the grid to be modified. The data populate in the fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields, and then click Update. The updated conditions appear in the grid. In the Past Surgical History panel, you can update the surgical conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Past Surgical History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the surgical conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view surgical conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. Click a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid. The grid displays surgical conditions associated with the selected filter condition.
