Configure Sub Headers Without the Conditions

In the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template, you can configure sub-headers for the Past Medical History, Past Surgical History, and Family History without selecting any conditions.

  1. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template.
  2. Expand any of the following panels:
    • Past Medical History
    • Past Surgical History
    • Family History
  3. To configure the sub-headers for a specialty, click Specialty and select the specialty from the list.
  4. If you want the sub-header items for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. To clear the value from the Practice field and start over, click Clear.
  5. Click the Sub Header option.
  6. To configure sub-header for a specific gender, click Gender and select a gender from the list.
  7. Click Body system name and select a body system from the list to link to the sub-header.
  8. If required, in Sub Header caption on popup, enter a caption for the sub-header that appears in run time as the option label.
  9. If required, in Alternate display name in the grid, enter an alternate label for the sub-header that appears in run time after you add the sub-header in the grid.
  10. Click Add.
  11. To clear value from all the fields and start over, click Clear.
  12. Click Add.
    The configured sub-header appears in the grid.

    In the run-timePast Medical History and/or Family Health History templates, the sub-header configured without selecting a condition appears as an option with blue label. When you select the option, the Manage Past Medical/Surgical History template opens. If the sub-items are configured for the sub header, then the list of sub-items opens on the Manage Past Medical/Surgical History template.

    Similarly, you can configure a sub-header Other without selecting a condition to add multiple other conditions that are not available on the template in run time.
