Configure Intervention Attributes and Reference Information

You can configure the source attributes to satisfy the decision support intervention on a specific intervention or test using the Attributes View and Management template.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. From File, select System \ Practice Template.
   The Select Template window opens.
3. On the Practice tab, select the All option.
4. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK.
   The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens.
5. Expand the Intervention/Orders Setup panel, select a record in the data grid, and then select the Attributes/Feedback link.
   The Attributes View and Management template opens.

   Note: The Attributes/Feedback link is available in the left navigation bar on the Care Guidelines Paged View template. The information displayed in the Attributes View and Management template is view only and cannot be edited.

   

6. In Intervention, select the record from the list.
   Note: Select the Predictive option to document the information on predictive based Decision Support Interventions (DSI).
7. In Bibliographic Citation/URL, enter the source attribute details.
8. In Reference link, enter the URL.
   Note: If you enter an internet URL, you can open the website from the Care Guidelines Paged View template.
9. In Developer and Funding Source, enter the text.
   The Reference Updated field automatically displays the current system date when you add or update a reference. By default, guidelines packaged with the system display the last build date of the package.
10. Select the options for demographic representativeness.
11. Enter your comments, and then select OK.
