Common Assessment Grids

Field	Description
Common assessment page name	Unique name for the common assessment.
Template Link name	The Link name that appears in run-time templates. The template link name list has the four values, Add Common Assessment, Add Custom Assessment, Add Fracture & wound assessments, and Add Injury/Fracture Assessment.
Specialty	The specialty set up by the practice to display the common assessment page.
Age	The common assessment page set to specific age group like Adult, Pediatrics, or All (includes adult and pediatric patients).
Gender	The common assessment page set to specific gender like Male, Female, All(for unknown or other classifications).
Active	The Active or Inactive status of the common assessment page.

Add a New Common Assessment Page

On the Common Assessments practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Page and Links panel. Do one of the following: Enter a new name that is not added to the list in the Common assessment page name field. Click the Common assessment page name field to select an existing common assessment. Click the Template Link name field and select an option from the list. This list indicates what the user sees in the patient's chart but not necessarily what template launches. Click the Specialty field and select an option from the list. You can select the All option or any of the individual specialty. Click the Age field and select an option from the list. You can select All, Adult, or Pediatrics. Click the Gender field and select an option from the list. You can select All, Male, or Female options. Copy an Existing Common Assessment Page to Another Practice

On the Common Assessments practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Page and Links panel. Highlight a row to be copied from the Common Assessment Pages grid. Click the Copy button. The Info Copy Assessment window opens. Click OK to duplicate the common assessment page. The applicable information displays in the Common assessment page name, Template link name, Specialty, Age, and Gender fields. Enter a unique page name in the Common assessment page name field. Edit the other field values. Click an option in the Copy to field. If you select the Another Practice option, enter the practice in the associated field. When copying to another practice, the entry will not appear in the current practice but is available in the other practice's grid. Click the Add/Update button to upload the data to the grid. Activate and Inactivate a Common Assessment Page

On the Common Assessments practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Page and Links panel. Click the Show field and select the Inactive option from the list. The inactive common assessments displays in the grid. Select the applicable assessment from the grid. Click the Activate button. To inactivate a common assessment page, select the Active option from the Show field. Select an assessment in the grid, and then click the Inactivate button. Edit an Existing Common Assessment Page

On the Common Assessments practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Page and Links panel. In the Common Assessment Pages grid, select the assessment page row that you want to edit. The entries for the selected assessment page display in the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. Edit the associated fields. Click the Add/Update button to save the changes to the grid. Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links

The Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel on the Common Assessments practice template enables you to create the common assessment groups. You can associate a group to a template link name for a specific specialty, age, and gender. Add New Diagnoses from the Common Assessment Template

The Diagnosis grid displays the patient’s diagnoses. The grid defaults to Orthopedic to show Orthopedic-specific diagnoses. The Medical options displays other clinical diagnoses. Click Add under the grid to launch the Common Assessment template. Select a diagnosis to add to the patient’s history. Click Save & Close.
