template.
On the
My Plan
panel, highlight a diagnosis description in the top grid.
In the
Order Options
section, select a
Plan Type
from the list.
Depending on the plan type selected, you are presented with different selections in the
Order Options
section to build the order.

Search for Providers on a Plan Type
The functionality to search for and select a provider name is available on the Referrals, Follow-up, Lab Orders, Diagnostics, Office Medications, and Instructions plan types on the My Custom Plan template. On the My Custom Plan template, My Plan panel, highlight a diagnosis. My Plan Under Order Options, select Referrals and next to View, select Providers. Note: The Referrals plan type includes the options to Show All or Show Internal Only. These lists are based on the rendering provider designation selected in File Maintenance. Show Internal Only is comprised of the provider records that include the rendering designation. To search for a provider in the Follow-up plan type, select Follow-up. A Search field displays above the grid: The list only includes the provider names that contain the string of values entered into the Search field in either the last name or first name when the magnifying glass button is selected. Enter the Patient's Disposition
Open the My Custom Plan template. At the bottom of the My Plan panel, click the Disposition field to select a value from the list or click the top, blank row to manually type the patient’s disposition in the field. View Order Sets with a Referral
Open the My Custom Plan template. With the diagnosis highlighted, go to the Order Options section to choose the Plan Type of Order Set. Delete an Incorrect Order from an Order Set
On the My Custom Plan template, highlight the diagnosis. In the Order Options section, choose the Order Set from the Plan Type pane. Select On Row Select: Remove from Pending Orders. Do one of the following in the Pending Orders section: Click the appropriate order row in the grid to delete it from the set before selecting Place Order. Click Remove All. Enter and View Diagnoses on My Custom Plan
Orders can only be created after an assessment is designated for the encounter. On the My Custom Plan template, My Plan panel, do one of the following actions: Next to Diagnosis Selection, select the desired search option (Today's Assessments or Clinical Problems) to highlight the assessment in the grid. Click the Dx Search link to open the diagnosis search window. Search for and highlight the correct diagnosis. Click Select to return to My Custom Plan. Click Add/Edit Assessment or Add/Edit Problems below the grid (depending on the search option selected) to add as many assessments and/or clinical problems as is required. Click Save & Close to return to My Custom Plan. Note: There are five diagnoses or four clinical problems immediately visible in the grid with the option to scroll down to view all of the entered data. The assessments can be sorted on the Add or Update Assessment template (Assessments tab in the My Plan tabbed template set). After a new order is created, the diagnosis

Access the Procedure AOE Template
On the My Custom Plan template, My Plan panel, highlight a diagnosis. Highlight the required procedure order and click Add to populate it to the Pending Orders. Click AOE to open the Procedure AOE template. My Plan Note: If you do not click AOE and procedures are available with AOE questions, upon clicking Place Order, the Procedure AOE template automatically opens.
