Basic Configuration and Setup Procedures

You can configure the settings and setup procedures for your dental practice using the Configuration Home template. Using the Configuration Home template, you can set the template preferences, add the desired links on templates, configure task recipients, customize the reasons for visit, and so on. Managing Practice Configurations

The Practice Configuration template is the central location for configuring settings for the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine templates of different specialties. You can configure settings for specific specialties or for all specialties. You can set default options and configure certain features in the run-time templates. Access the Practice Configuration Template

For more information on the Practice Configuration template, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Practice Configuration Template User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Click the Practice tab. If the Practice Configuration template is not in your Preferred templates list, in the Show section, select the All option. A list of practice templates appears.
