Manage Additional Plans

You can modify a diagnosis plan using the Card Setup DAP Plans template in the System \ Practice template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In System \ Practice Template, open the Card Setup DAP Plans template. In the ADDITIONAL PLAN ITEMS section, click the Menu Names link. The CARD UDP PlanAIMenuNames template opens. Select an item from the list. Click OK. Enter the choice name. Additional Plan Items Click Add. To update an additional plan item, select the choice item and click Update. Add Diagnosis Plans

You can add diagnosis plans on the Card UPD Plan Types section in the Card Setup DAP Plans practice template. Diagnosis plans that are added, as orders do not function unless you correctly configure the DB Picklist Manager in File Maintenance. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest File Maintenance Master Files Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In System \ Practice Template, open the Card Setup DAP Plans template. In the DIAGNOSIS PLAN ITEMS section, click the Plan Type link. The Card UPD Plan Types window opens. From the Card UPD Plan Types list, select a type. Click OK. In the DIAGNOSIS PLAN ITEMS section, in the top row, click the Plan Type, Diag Group, Choice, Plan, and AI cells, and select the values. Modify Diagnosis Plans

You can modify diagnosis plans on the Card Setup DAP Assessments window. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In System \ Practice Template, open the Card Setup DAP Plans template. In the DIAGNOSIS PLAN ITEMS grid, select the diagnosis plan item update or delete. Diagnosis Plan Items To update a diagnosis plan, modify the diagnosis plan, make the desired changes in the Diag Group, Choice, AI, and Additional Items cells, and click Update. Add Diagnosis Assessments

You can add diagnosis assessments on the Card Setup DAP Assessments window. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open System/practice template and open Card Setup DAP Assessments. On the Card Setup DAP Assessments template, go to the DIAGNOSIS ASSESSMENT section. Click the Diagnosis Group link. Card Setup DAP Assessments - Diagnosis Assessments The Getdxgroupbyreference window appears. Select the Diagnosis Group and click OK. The diagnosis group gets added to the text area. Click the Assessment Picklist link. The CARD UDP DiagAssessments window opens. Select an assessment from the CARD UDP DiagAssessments list and click OK. The diagnosis assessment gets added to the text area. Modify the field above Assessment, if required. Click Add to add the diagnosis assessment to the grid. You can manage diagnosis statuses on the Card Setup DAP Assessments window. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open System / Practice Template. On the Practice tab, double-click Card Setup DAP Assessments. The CARD Setup DAP Assessments template opens. To add a diagnosis status, enter the choice, and status, and click Add. To update a diagnosis status, select the status, make the desired changes in Choice and Status, and click Update. To delete a diagnosis status, select the status, and click Delete. Set Up Patient Educational Resources

You can set up patient educational resources such as website addresses and PDF documents on the Card Setup Patient Education template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open System \ Practice Template. On the Practice tab, double-click Card Setup Patient Education. Enter the category, document description, item type, and name or location. Click Add.
