Add Obstetric Diagnostic Documents to Orders

Before you begin

To attach a document, a diagnosis order should be available in the Orders section.
  1. Select the Prenatal Detail tab
  2. In the Diagnostics Studies panel, select Add.
    The OB Diagnostics template opens.
  3. In the Today's Assessment section, select the diagnosis order to add an attachment.
  4. In the Orders section, document the order details.
  5. Select the See scanned document check box, select the document or scanned image in the Scanned Document/Image window, and then select OK.
    The file is attached and the name of the attached file appears in the See scanned document field.
  6. Select Place Order.
    The attachment is added to the order.
  7. To replace the attached document, do the following:
    • Select the Cl button.
    • Select the See scanned document check box, and then select a document or image.
    • Select Update.
  8. Select Save & Close.
