The existing data set items associated with the EM psychotherapy data set appear in the grid.
Click Add.
The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens.
If applicable, click Diagnosis description to search and select a diagnosis.
The associated diagnosis code automatically populates.
If applicable, click Provider and select a provider from Dbp Rendering Provider.
In Codes, enter a CPT code (that is, either the psychotherapy code with the E&M code or the visit code).
In Code Type, enter any indicator to differentiate a visit code from the psychotherapy with E&M code. For example, if you indicate the psychotherapy with E&M code as the 1st code, then you can indicate the visit code as the 2nd code.
Click Save, and then click Close.
The newly configured data set item appears in the Data Sets Setup template.
Note: To add another item, click Clear For Add in the Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template and repeat steps 1 and 2.
