You can set up a chief complaint to be accessible in the Reason for Visit list.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Open the Framework Content system template.
- Click the Reason for Visit panel.
- Set the Filter to all.
- Select a gender from the filter by gender list.
- To select a reason for visit from the list, click the field above the Reason for Visit column of the grid.
Note: If the required reason for visit is not listed, you can access the Manage Custom Links practice template to add the reason for visit.
- Click OK.
The selected item appears in the field above the Reason for Visit column of the grid.
- Click Add.
The added chief complaint appears in the Reason for Visit list.
