Add Chief Complaints to the Reason for Visit List

You can set up a chief complaint to be accessible in the Reason for Visit list.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Open the Framework Content system template.
  3. Click the Reason for Visit panel.
  4. Set the Filter to all.
  5. Select a gender from the filter by gender list.
  6. To select a reason for visit from the list, click the field above the Reason for Visit column of the grid.
  7. Click OK.
    The selected item appears in the field above the Reason for Visit column of the grid.
  8. Click Add.
    The added chief complaint appears in the Reason for Visit list.
