Add Observations
The Observations panel on the Objective template displays encounter-based flowsheets when an observation exam is selected. Observations can be added and updated by opening the different observation templates to document observed findings. The observation options appear in the left pane. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select an observation option from the left pane. For example, Transfers/Bed. Observations Click Add.The corresponding observations template appears. In this example, the Pt Transfers template opens as Transfers/Bed is selected. Pt Transfers Enter the required details. View Treatment History

Access Home Page - Physical Therapy
Before you begin When you open the Home Page - Physical Therapy template, you must select the Specialty and Visit Type to access the framework template set for Physical Therapy. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Click the Medical Records tab. In the Show section, select the All option to display the list of templates. Select Home Page - Physical Therpay. Enter Functional Limitations
The Functional Limitation link launches the Functional Limitations template where you can document functional limitation details for basic physical activities as reported by the patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From any tabbed template in the Physical Therapy specialty, click the Functional Limitations link to launch the Functional Limitations template.The Functional Limitations template opens. Functional Limitations Select patient reported details, as appropriate, under the classifications of Able To, Not Able To, and Finds it Difficult to. Click Save & Close. Add a Treating Assessment
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessment section, click Add.The PT Treating Assessment template opens. PT Treating Assessment Do one of the following: Click the Add Common Assessment link, click an appropriate assessment link, select a description from the resulting list, and then click OK. Click the Assessment field, search for and highlight a diagnosis, and then click Select. Click Add To Grid. Click Save & Close. Parent topic: Treating Assessments
