Update Obstetric Lab Order Results
You can update existing obstetric lab orders in the order management template.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
 - Open a female adult patient record, and then create an encounter.
 - On the Intake template, and then select the specialty as Obstetrics and visit type as OB Prenatal.
 - Open the Prenatal Detail template, and then expand the Initial Orders panel to view the lab order details.
 - To update the lab order results, select the Order Management link in the Prenatal Detail template.
   The Order Management template opens.
 - Select the Lab orders option.
   The lab orders associated with the Prenatal Detail template appear in the Order Management panel.
 - Select the lab order to update, and then select Edit.
   The Lab Order template appears.
 - In Result details, enter or select the result value.
   
 - Select Save, and then select Close.
 - Open the Prenatal Detail template, and then expand the Initial Orders panel.
   The updated lab order results appear in the grid.
