Remove a Patient Prep

Add a Patient Prep
Select Prep type and select the pre-procedure prep type given to the patient. To manually enter the prep name, select the Prep type field and select the top-blank row in the list. If the list options are not appropriate for selection, select the top-blank row in the list and enter the prep name manually in the Prep type field. For Prep completion, select the status of the prep. Select Last solid intake date. To enter the Last solid intake time, do one of the following: Select the Last solid intake time field and enter the time. Select the clock to add the current system time. Select Last liquid intake date to select a date. To enter Last liquid intake time select the clock to add the current system time in the Last liquid intake time field. Select Prep results and select the appropriate result after patient prep. To enter additional information on the patient prep, select Comments.You can use the My Phrases link at the top-right of the Comments field to add comments in the Comments fie

Patient Prep Panel on the ASC - Intake Template
The Patient Prep panel on the ASC - Intake template allows you to document any pre-procedure prep provided to the patient. The Patient Prep panel allows you to document the specific prep details such as Prep type, Prep completion, Last solid intake date, Last solid intake time, Last liquid intake time, and Prep results. Modify the Pre-Procedure Prep Details
Select a row in the grid.The fields above the grid appears with the corresponding data. Make relevant changes in the applicable fields. Select Update.The modified data updates in the grid. Modify Patient Instructions
On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template, Patient Instructions panel, select a row in the grid. The fields above the grid populate with the corresponding data. Patient Prep Panel on the ASC - Pre admission Template
The Patient Prep panel displays the prep types documented by the scheduler on the ASC - Scheduling Screening Questions template. For information on prep documentation, see Patient Prep Panel on the ASC - Scheduling Questions Template. In the Patient Prep panel, the clinical support staff reviews the prep types and adds any new prep type for the patient. If the case ID of the encounters is identical, then the data entered in the panel on the ASC - Pre admission template carry forward to the next encounters within the same case ID.
