General Panel on the ASC - Intake Template

The General panel allows the nurse to document provider details and scheduled date and time of procedure. This panel includes the Patient check-in time field to enter the time when the patient arrives at ASC, and the Admission time field to enter the time when the patient was taken to the ASC suite. You can select the drop-down arrow to open the Time Entry template and enter the exact time in Hour, Minutes, and Seconds, or you can select the clock next to the time fields to input the current system time. Procedure Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

In the Procedure panel, the provider can document procedure details to be performed on the patient. If the case ID of encounters is the same, the procedure details documented by the scheduler or clinical support staff on the Procedure Preadmission Visit Type carry forward to the Procedure panel on the Ambulatory Surgery framework templates in the next subsequent encounters. Vital Signs Monitoring Panel on the ASC - Intake Template

The Vital Signs Monitoring panel allows you to document the patient's vital signs, and import vital signs captured by the vital signs interface application. Vital Signs Monitoring On the ASC - Intake template, the nurse documents the baseline set of vitals to start the procedure. The baseline vitals display on all the ASC templates that have Vital Signs Monitoring panel. You can enter additional vital signs records on each of the template to depict the patient condition before, during, and after the procedure.
