Orthopedic Home Page Template

The practice can customize the panels displayed on the Home Page - ORT template. The following table describes the panels on the template. Panel Description Reason for Visit Displays the reasons for a patient visit. Physical Exam Displays the physical exam details of the visit. You can view the system name, followed by abnormal exam findings, and the normal exam findings. Assessment/Plan Displays patient details related to assessments, follow-up details, treatment plans, lab orders, and office procedures. History Displays the patient history documented by the intake staff on the Histories template. Allergies Lists the allergies associated with the patient. Review of Orthopedic Details by Intake Staff

The intake staff begins the current encounter on the Intake template. They can review the patient details documented during the previous encounters on the Home Page - ORT template. The Home Page - ORT template displays the information documented by the intake staff on the Intake and Histories templates for the provider's review. Reviewing Obstetrics Details by Providers

A provider can start the visit by reviewing the patient information documented during the previous patient encounters on the Home Page template for the Obstetrics specialty. The provider reviews the information entered by the intake staff to determine if any additions or changes are required. The information documented by the nursing staff on the Intake template displays on the Home Page template for the provider's review. You can update the information on the Intake and SOAP templates. Provider Workflow

You can review the patient's medical summary details on the Home Page template and then proceed to the SOAP Plan Finalize templates. The provider workflow involves: Reviewing the data documented up to this point in the encounter to obtain an overview of the patient's condition as well as updating and providing additional information as needed Documenting the presenting problem(s) and various physical exam findings Documenting the procedures performed Creating a treatment plan Documenting Evaluation and Management (E & M) codes Patient Tracking in the Provider Workflow You can update the patient tracking details using the Patient Tracking on the Patient Information Card (PIC).
