Panel	Description
Reason for Visit	Displays the reasons for a patient visit.
Physical Exam	Displays the physical exam details of the visit. You can view the system name, followed by abnormal exam findings, and the normal exam findings.
Assessment/Plan	Displays patient details related to assessments, follow-up details, treatment plans, lab orders, and office procedures.
History	Displays the patient history documented by the intake staff on the Histories template.
Allergies	Lists the allergies associated with the patient.
Medications	Lists the patient's current medications.
Orders	Displays the details of the patient's orders related to labs, diagnostics, immunization, surgical procedures, and referrals.
Communications	Displays the summary of the phone calls with the patient.
Patient Education	Lists the education documents that have been added to the patient's chart. You can issue these documents to patients by printing them or by sending them to NextGen® PxP Portal.

Review of Orthopedic Details by Providers

The information documented by the nursing staff on the Intake template displays on the Home Page - ORT template for the provider's review. You can update the information on the Intake and SOAP templates. NextGen Healthcare recommends that providers begin the visit by reviewing the patient details on the Home Page - ORT template. Allergy Home Page Template

You can review the historical information of the patient on the Home Page - Allergy template. The panels displayed on the Home Page - Allergy template can be customized by the practice. Panel Description General Enables you to indicate if the patient is new or an established patient for the current encounter. Allergy Test Flowsheet Enables you to list the allergy testing orders of the patient. Provider Workflow

You can review the patient's medical summary details on the Home Page template and then proceed to the SOAP Plan Finalize templates. The Orthopedics User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine provides an explanation and instructions on how to use the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine for Orthopedic office and virtual visit encounters, document physical exams, fracture care, and pre-operative and post-operative visits specifically for an Orthopedic patient. Open Orthopedic Home Page

When you open the Home Page - ORT template, ensure to select the specialty and visit type to access the framework template set for Orthopedic. Select a patient. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. On Top Toolbar, select Templates. On the main menu, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. Select Medical Records and select All to display the list of templates in the Show section.
