Review of Intake Details by Provider

Panel	Description
Medical Chart Summary	Displays the details documented by the intake staff and provider during an encounter. The details from the previous encounters also appear in this panel. The categories in the left pane in the grid allow you to select and view the documented data. Some of the categories include filters in the grid, which allow you to filter and review the required data. The data that appears in the grid is read-only.
Problem List	Displays the patient's chronic and secondary problems documented by the intake staff.
History Summary	Displays the patient history details previously documented by the intake staff and provider on the Intake, Histories, and SOAP templates. The categories in the left pane in the grid allow you to view and document the corresponding data. The Add to HPI Grid button allows you to add a diagnostic study created during the current encounter with a documented Result or Interpretation to the grid in the Reason for Visit panel.
Allergies	Displays the patient's allergy details documented by the intake staff.
Medications	Displays the patient's medications documented by the intake staff in the Medication module.
Vital Signs	Displays the vital signs documented by the intake staff, enabling you to manage the vital signs of the patient.
Orders	Displays all the orders placed during an encounter. You can select the categories in the left pane to view the corresponding orders.
Communication	Displays the details of the communication between the practice and the patient that are documented on the Telephone Call and Telephone Communication templates. The badge count in the panel header shows the number of open items in the communication queue. You can also filter the communication details based on the status. You can select the category in the left pane to filter and review the items by category. The numbers beside the items in the left pane indicate the number of items in the queue.

SOAP Template

You can review and modify the documented patient intake and histories information on the SOAP template. You can review the Asthma Flowsheet, Allergy Test Flowsheet, Spirometry, and Nebulizer panels. You also can document physical exam, assessment plan, and communication details. SOAP Link Icons The icons for various links appear on the SOAP template. Document the Patient's Reason for Visit as a Provider The reason for visit added by the intake staff on the Intake template appears on the SOAP template. Patient's History Summary Documentation by Provider You can document a patient's past medical or surgical history, interim, social, family, and diagnostic study history in the History Summary panel. Document Vital Signs The provider reviews the vital signs added by the Intake staff on the Intake template and makes the applicable changes. Dermatology Home Page Template

The practice can customize the panels displayed on the Home Page - Dermatology template. The following table describes the panels on the template. Panel Description Skin Cancer Log Displays the patient's details related to skin cancer. Skin Cancer Log has the following grids. Treatment History Staging You can click Add in the Treatment History grid to open the Skin Cancer History Log - Derm template. You can add the pathology results that indicate the presence of skin cancer on the Skin Cancer History Log - Derm template. The pathology results are available on the Pathology Results template. Intake Staff Workflow

The intake staff can use the Intake template to document a patient's chief complaint, vital signs, medications, allergies, standing orders, and various other findings. The intake staff workflow involves documenting the patient encounter on the Intake and Histories templates. The information documented by the intake staff is used by the provider for reference and to proceed with the encounter. Open the Home Page Template You can obtain the patient summary on the Home Page template. Cardiology Home Page

You can use the panels on the Home Page - Cardiology template to document a patient's visit. Panel Description Summary Displays the details documented by the intake staff and provider during an encounter. You can view the documented data by selecting the categories in the grid. You can review the historical information of the patient on the Home Page - Allergy template. The panels displayed on the Home Page - Allergy template can be customized by the practice.
