Medical Chart Summary Review by Provider

You can select and view the data documented by the Intake staff in the Medical Chart Summary panel. The Medical Chart Summary panel displays the details documented by the Intake staff and provider in an encounter. The details from the previous encounters also appear in this panel. The data grid includes a list of categories in the left pane. Some of the categories include filters in the grid, which allows you to filter and review the required data. Patient's Orders Review by Provider

You can review the patient's orders using the Orders panel that displays all the orders placed for a patient. You can select the appropriate categories in the left pane to view the corresponding orders. Buttons and Checkboxes in History Summary Panel

You can select buttons and checkboxes to document history data. The following buttons and checkboxes are available in the History Summary panel. Button/Checkbox Description Edit Allows you to review and make changes in any of the documented patient history data. Add Allows you to add any new patient history by selecting a category in the left pane. Add to HPI Grid Allows you to send a diagnostic study, that was created in the current encounter with a documented Result or Interpretation to the grid in the Reason for Visit section. Confidential link Allows you to view and enter the confidential information provided by the patient during the course of the encounter. History Review Opens the History Review template that allows you to indicate that the documented patient history has been reviewed. Patient's History Summary

The History Summary panel on the Intake template enables you to document a patient's past medical or surgical history, interim, social, family, and diagnostic study. It also displays the patient history documented by the Intake staff on the Histories template. You can add diagnostic studies with a documented Result or Interpretation to the grid in the Reason for Visit panel by clicking the Add to HPI Grid button. The grid includes a list of categories in the left pane to select and view the documented data. You can filter the patient history records by selecting the Medical History or Surgical History option. Adding Patient's History Summary on SOAP

You can update the history details entered by the intake staff and add any additional history details in the History panel on the SOAP template. In the History panel, you can document the following: Medical and surgical history details on the Past Medical/Surgical category. Interim history details on the Interim category. Social history details on the Social category. Family health history details on the Family category. Historical diagnostics details on the Diagnostic category.
