You can restore a care guideline item for a patient using the Remove/Restore Guidelines panel.
 
  You can restore a care guideline or guideline item removed previously, so that it can be followed for a patient.
  
 
  - Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
 
  - Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template.
   
    The Care Guidelines template opens.
   
 
  - Select Add/Update in the Care Guidelines panel.
   
    The Activate Care Guidelines template opens.
   
 
  - In the Activate Guidelines panel, select the Conditionfrom the list. 
 
  - Select Add to activate it again.
   
    This re-applies the guideline.
   
 
  - Select Save & Close.
   
    Note: When you re-apply a guideline, the application goes through all of the existing items that are active, and only re-applies the one that is missing from the set for the condition.
