Document Anticipatory Guidance
For a Well child visit, the Anticipatory Guidance button appears in the Assessment/Plan section. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template, and then expand the Assessment/Plan section. Select Anticipatory Guidance.The Peds Plan template opens based on the patient's age. Note: The Anticipatory Guidance content is based on the Bright Futures Fourth Edition guidelines, which provide theory-based and evidence-driven guidance for all preventive care screenings and well child visits. The fourth edition builds on the previous editions with a focus on the social determinants of health and lifelong physical and mental health. Well Child Age displays the well child age of the patient by default. You can change the age for patients who have not visited the office for some time. Peds Plan template options Description in the Assessment section displays the default text for a routine child health exam. Remove an Assessment on the SOAP Template
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Assessment / Plan panel, select an assessment in the grid. The Add or Update Assessment template opens. In the Today's Assessment grid, select an assessment. Update an Assessment on the SOAP Template
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the SOAP template, in the Assessment / Plan panel, select an assessment you want to update in the grid. Remove a Treating Assessment
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Subjective template, General panel, Treating Assessments section, highlight the assessment to be deleted in the grid. Click Remove. Parent topic: Treating Assessments

Remove a Document Entry
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Document panel. Open the Pre Visit Planning Template
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For Medical Records, select All. Scroll down and do one of the following: Double-click Pre Visit Planning. Select Pre Visit Planning and click OK. The Pre Visit Planning template opens. Filtering Pre Visit Planning Information You can filter the details on the Pre Visit Planning template, to quickly get the desired information.
