Orthostatic Vital Sign Symptoms Data Set

The Orthostatic Vital Sign Symptoms data set enables you to configure the abnormal symptoms for Orthostatic Vital Signs template. If you select a configured abnormal symptom in the Orthostatic Vital Sign template, an alert appears in the Orthostatic Vital Sign template and in the Vital Signs panel. Edit Orthostatic Blood Pressure Drops

Open the Data Sets Setup practice template. In the Data Sets Setup practice template, select Data Set and then select Orthostatic Vital Sign BP.Existing data set items associated with the Orthostatic Vital Sign BP data set appear in the grid. Select a data set item from the grid and then select Update.The Template Data Set Setup template opens. Edit the information in the BP Systolic Drop and BP Diastolic Drop fields. Open the Orthostatic Vital Signs Template

You can record a patient's orthostatic vital signs on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To open the Orthostatic Vital Signs template, do one of the following: On the Intake template, in the Vital Signs panel, select Orthostatic Vital Signs. On the Intake template, in the Vital Signs panel, select Add Vital Signs, and then select the Orthostatic Vital Signs link. Orthostatic Vital Sign Document Orthostatic Vital Signs You can measure and document the blood pressure and pulse rate of a patient in the lying, sitting, and standing positions for five, three, and one minute with any other associated symptoms and comments on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template. Document Orthostatic Vital Signs

You can measure and document the blood pressure and pulse rate of a patient in the lying, sitting, and standing positions for five, three, and one minute with any other associated symptoms and comments on the Orthostatic Vital Signs template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . The Select Template window opens. Open the Intake template. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . The Select Template window opens. Expand the Vital Signs panel, and then do one of the following: Select Orthostatic Vital Signs. Select Add Vital Signs, and then select the Orthostatic Vital Signs link. The Orthostatic Vital Signs template opens. Note: The date and time of the blood pressure and pulse measurement are displayed automatically. Vital Signs

The Vital Signs panel displays details about a patient’s vitals and enables you to access and document a patient's vital signs. This panel also contains links that you can click to record pertinent details. For example, to add the orthostatic vital signs, you can click the Orthostatic Vital Signs link and then document the vitals. Link Description Orthostatic Vital Signs Click the Orthostatic Vital Signs link to add the Orthostatic vital signs. Historical Information Entered this Encounter Click the link to view the historical information entered during the current encounter. Health Promotion Plan Click the link to review and update document the patient's Health Promotion Plan. History Click this link to view the patient’s vital signs history.
