Health Survey Information

You can document the health survey reporting details using the Health Survey Information template. To meet quality reporting objectives, Eligible Professionals (EPs), Eligible Hospitals (EHs), and Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) can submit data to public health agencies. The EPs, EHs, and CAHs must create and transmit a Health Survey report to the public health registry to be compliant with regulatory standards. The Health Survey info link is visible on the Navigation bar only when the Enable Health Survey link checkbox on the Practice Configuration template is selected. Create Reference URLs for Patient Health Data Documents

You can create a URL for patient health data. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For a patient encounter, open a template. For example, Intake To open the navigation bar, select Navigation. In the navigation bar, select the Patient Health Data link. By default, the Open to Add/Update panel is collapsed. When expanded, the panel name changes to Close Add/Update. The Patient Generated Health Data template opens. In the Type field of the Close Add/Update panel, select a value in the list. NextGen® Enterprise EHR automatically fills the Description and the Link fields. Note: The type of link is selected by default. To add the URL for a patient, in the Link field, enter the URL. In the Comments field, enter your comments. Select Add. The added URL appears in the Select a Link grid. Select the record. Select Access Link. The page opens in a window. Accessing and Setting up Templates from Navigation Bar

You can access and configure various templates in the Navigation bar. The navigation bar consists of links for quick navigation. You can generate notes, open templates, document a patient's education and health data, manage referral and orders, and so on. Based on the configuration done on the Custom Navigation template, the links appear on the navigation bar. Configure a Website to Access Patient Health Information

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Custom DB Picklists template top grid, select the Patient Generated Health setup DB picklist.The selected Patient Generated Health DB Picklist appears in the DBPicklist Name field. Select Configure.The Patient Generated Health Setup template opens with pre-configured data in the grid. To add a new care plan data, select the Add New List Items link.The fields above the grid become available for documentation. To associate the custom DB picklist to a practice, select the Practice ID field and select the practice that uses the care plan data. On the Patient Generated Health Setup template, select Add New List Item link.The Add button is available in the Patient Generated Health Setup template. Options for Managing Links

The Manage Custom Links practice template is used to create and store several different types of links. These types are grouped together and listed as options in the Link to field. On the practice template, you can select one of the following options from the Link to picklist to update or delete an existing configured link, or to use an existing set of values as the base for adding a new link: Option Description Show all custom links Reveals all available configured link values in the grid. Other filters can be applied to refine the grid listing. Chief complaint to HPI pop up to launch The configured links appear in the resulting list from the History of Present Illness (HPI) section of the Framework Content template, where you can then configure which items display in the Reason for Visit panel in runtime. Access the Patient Demographics Template

You can also access the Patient Demographics template from Demographics links on various NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. For more information, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine documentation for the specific template. Open an existing patient in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For more information, refer to the Person and Patient Lookup in EHR section. Open the Select Template window and select the Demographics tab. Select the Patient Demographics template. For more information on selecting a template, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the Templates User Guide for NextGen Enterprise EHR. The Patient Demographics template appears, displaying the selected patient's information. Expand the panels to view the information in them. You can add or edit information in the enabled fields.
