Managing Cardiac Orders

You can view cardiac orders, such as doctor visits, lab tests, procedures, enroll in (for enrolling a patient into one or more cardiac clinics, such as a Lipid clinic), counseling, and immunizations on the Cardiac Orders panel. You can also view the pending orders and medication changes.

The best practice is to allow only eligible professionals to enter orders and this may or may not include nurses and technicians. The nurses and technicians can use the Checkout template to review and process orders because the patient does not see the doctor at intake.
