A clinical pharmacist can add, update, or remove recommendations using the Clinical Pharmacist Recommendation template. The clinical pharmacist's recommendations help the provider plan the line of treatment for the patient.
Before you begin
Ensure to select the
Family Practice,
Internal Medicine, or
Pediatrics specialty and
Clinical Pharmacist as the visit type.
You can add only one recommendation for a patient to an encounter.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Open the Clinical Pharmacist Recommendation template.
- To add a recommendation, enter your comments in Clinical Pharmacist Note.
- To update a recommendation, make the required changes to the comments in Clinical Pharmacist Note.
- To remove a recommendation, delete the comments in Clinical Pharmacist Note.
- Select Save & Close.
