Review Medications Manually

You can manually review the medications details that are taken by a patient for adherence to the prescribed medicines.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. Open the Intake template.
3. Open the Medications Review template.
4. Select the Review – adherence checkbox.
5. In the Review – adherence list, select a patient adherence comment, or enter the comment.
6. To review all the medications in the Medication List, select the Review All – Taken As Directed button.
   The medications appear in the Medication Review grid below the Medication List grid.
7. To review one medication at a time and select a different adherence for each, select one row at a time from the Medication List grid.
   Each selected medication moves to the Medication Review grid.
8. To move a medication from the Medication Review grid, select Medication List, and select Remove.
9. To document the patient's status after completing the manual medication review, select the Transitioning into care checkbox.
10. To indicate the receipt of document, select the Summary of care received checkbox in the Medication Module panel.
11. Select OK.
    Note: Ensure to select the Medications reconciled checkbox in the Medications panel.
