Typically, the patient allergy evaluation workflow involves the following steps: The intake staff uses the Intake and Histories templates to begin the visit for the patient. If needed, the intake staff can review the patient's details documented in previous encounters on the Home Page template. Using the Intake and Histories templates, a nurse or medical assistant can document the reasons for visit, medication, allergies, social history, and so on. The provider can review the patient history documented in previous encounters on the Home Page template or in the intake note document the intake staff generates. After completing the intake staff and provider workflow, the front office staff initiates and completes the patient checkout process on the Checkout template to do the following: Review and/or process all orders. Generate lab and/or radiology requisitions, if needed. Generate referral documents, if needed. Schedule future appointments as ordered. Generate the Patient Plan and Checkout documents, if needed. Viewing Template Links on the Checkout Template You can customize the links to meet your needs on the Checkout template.
