Modify the Family History Conditions

The Family History panel enables you to update the family history conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. Select a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid.The grid displays family health conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Family History panel, see Filtering the Family Health History Conditions. Highlight a condition in the grid to be modified.The data appears in the fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields, and select Update.The changes are updated in the grid. Remove a Family Health History Condition

The Family History panel enables you to remove a family health condition from the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. Select a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid.The grid displays family health conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Family History panel, see Filter the Family Health History Conditions. Configure Family History Condition

Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. To configure the specialty-specific family health conditions, select Specialty and select a specialty from the list. To configure the family health conditions for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. To clear the value from the Practice field and start over, select Clear. Select Sync Specialty and practice on all panels to synchronize the selected Specialty and Practice values on the following panels: Past Medical History Management Items Past Surgical History Select one of the following Type options to select the type of condition: Standard Sub Header Sub-item- If you select Sub-item, a list of configured sub-headers appears. In the Past Medical History panel, you can update the medical conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Past Medical History panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the medical conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view medical conditions configured for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. Select a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid.The grid displays medical conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Past Medical History panel, see Filter the Medical Conditions. Highlight a condition in the grid to be modified. The data populate in the fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields, and then select Update.The updated conditions appear in the grid. Change the Order of the Family History Conditions

The options in the run-time Family Health History template are in the same order as the conditions in the grid in the Family History panel. You can only sort or change the order of the Standard and Sub header conditions in the grid. The Sub-Items are sorted alphabetically by default. The Sort alphabetically or Change order options are not applicable for Sub-Items. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. Select the filter Standard and Sub header Conditions option above the grid.The Change order and Sort alphabetically options become available. Select the Change order option. To configure the specialty-specific surgical conditions, select Specialty and select a specialty from the list. To configure the surgical conditions for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. To clear the value from the Practice field and start over, select Clear.
