Document the Additional Findings of the Procedure in the Findings Panel

In the Reason for Visit section, select the applicable procedure to document the finding. To select more reasons for visit, select the Extra button on the Reason for Visit section and then select the Manage reasons for visit option from the menu. The Reason for Visit window opens. Findings Select the field at the bottom of the window to select a reason from the list. Select Add. The Findings section includes the findings that are configured on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. Based on the procedure selected in the Reason for Visit section, select the appropriate illustration tab ( Upper GI, Lower GI, and Anal/Rectal) to display the corresponding illustration. Each illustration is divided into regions. In the Findings section, select a finding. Select a particular location on the illustration to select a region.The label appears on the selected region in the GET. The selected finding uploads in the grid on the GET, and in the procedure findings grid below the GET. F

Remove Procedure Findings from the Dynamic HPI

You can remove the documented procedure findings from the concatenation in the dynamic HPI template. On the ASC - Physician Procedure template, click the desired procedure details in the Reason for Visit panel. The dynamic HPI template opens. Click Remove to open the Remove HPI Findings template. Remove HPI Findings To delete an entire section from the concatenation, highlight the row from the Select the section to remove grid and click the Remove button at the bottom of that grid. To take out a single finding from a section, highlight the finding in the Select the finding to remove grid and click the Remove button. Click Close to return to the dynamic HPI template. The concatenated record updates in the field below the right grid. Click Close. The procedure details update in the Reason for Visit panel and the Procedure panel. Document the ASC Phy Procedure Findings Template

In the ASC Phy Procedure Findings template, the Procedure field displays the procedure selected in the Reason for Visit section of the Findings panel. The Start navigational tab appears below the Procedure field. This tab displays the sections and the sub-sections in the left pane. The sections and associated sub-sections are configured for a procedure on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. Select a section from the left pane.The right grid displays a list of findings associated with the section. Note: A section can include a list of sub-sections configured on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. You need to select a sub-section in the left pane to display a list of findings associated with the sub-section in the right grid. Select an appropriate finding(s) from the right grid. Add More Details to the Findings

To add any additional details to the findings, select the Add/Edit Comments button.The ASC Phy Procedure comment template opens. ASC Phy Procedure comment In the Comments field, enter any additional information and select Add. You can use the My Phrases link at the top-right of the Comments field to add comments. For more information on managing and using the My Phrases functionality, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Getting Started User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Select Close.The entered comment adds to the end of the concatenated record in the field below the View label. If you select the Default paragraph view to editable checkbox on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, then the My Phrases and Manage My Phrases links appear in the Documentation panel to add and/or select comments. Update Documented Data in the Documentation Panel

In the Documentation panel, select a row in the grid. Select Edit to open the ASC Procedure Documentation template. Make the required changes by selecting any of the sections in the left pane, and then updating the selections in the grid.The selected values update to the field below the View label. Select Save & Close.The modified record updates in the Documentation panel grid. To delete a procedure documentation record, highlight a row in the Documentation panel grid and select Remove. If you want to save the documented values as the default template, select the Quick Save button and enter a default set name for the template. Sort the Procedure Documentation and Findings Values

You can change the order of the sections, subsections, and the right grid values using the Documentation panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. In Select Template, select the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All.A list of practice templates opens. Select Procedure Documentation Config and select OK. On the Procedure Documentation Config practice template, expand the Documentation panel. Select Procedure and select a procedure from the list, and then select Procedure documentation or Procedure findings. To sort a value in the left pane: Select the Enable sort checkbox. Select a value from the left pane. Select promote or demote below the left pane, and the selected value moves to a new position. Note: If you attempt to sort a section linked to another section, an alert message appears to confirm the changes. You can select the information icon to view information on the section order.
