Document the Hysteroscopy Details

You can document the Hysteroscopy procedure details in the Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization panel on the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template.

1. Open the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template, and then exapnd the Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization panel.
2. In the Hysteroscopy Details section, enter the hysteroscope type, size, and distention medium.
   

3. Optional: Select the Gravity feed and Pressure bag checkboxes.
4. Enter the measures for fluid volumes in and out and the fluid deficit.
5. To enter the details for the time scope in and time scope out field, do one of the following:
   • To enter the current time, select .
   • To enter the time using the Time Entry template, select the .
   • Enter the time in Time scope in and Time scope out.
6. If a product is not required for billing, select the *Product not required checkbox. Otherwise, enter the product, lot number, and expiration information in the respective fields.
   Note: If you have not documented hysteroscopy details or indicated that product information is not required on the Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization panel, charges are not submitted to Superbill. Additionally, a message appears requesting the product details to submit charges.
7. To document the procedure description, you can use the Procedure details link to enter the preset information, use My Phrases, or enter text manually.

   The Procedure Description field has a 1000 characters limit.

   Note: If you enter text in Procedure Description and then select Procedure Details, the manually entered instructions are overwritten.
8. To indicate the procedure status, select the applicable checkboxes for Procedure Details.
