Document the Hysteroscopy, Ablation, or Sterilization Recovery and Discharge Details

You can document the recovery details of the Hysteroscopy, Ablation, or Sterilization procedure in the Recovery and Discharge Details panel on the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template.

1. Open the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template, and then expand the Recovery and Discharge Details panel.
   

2. In Patient tolerated procedure well, select No or Yes.
3. In Complications, select No or Yes.
   If you select Yes, you must enter comments in the corresponding field.
4. Enter the time in Arrived in recovery.
   You can manually enter the time, select to enter the current time, or select the to enter the time using the Time Entry template.
5. Optional: Select the Patient ID card given checkbox.
6. Enter the details in Discharge completed by.
7. Enter the details in Patient discharged into the care of and the time
8. Enter a birth control option in the Post procedure interval contraception field.
9. Enter assistant and post-procedure comments.
10. Enter instructions for the patient.
    You can also select Post Instructions to add the post instruction comments directly in Patient instructions. The Patient instructions field has a 1000 character limit.
    Note: If you enter text in Patient instructions and then select Post Instructions, the instructions you entered are overwritten.
