Document the Colposcopy Procedure Details

You can collect additional details about the Colposcopy procedures in the Colposcopy panel on the Colposcopy - Procedure template.

1. Open the Colposcopy – Procedure template.
2. In the Colposcopy panel, select a diagnosis in Indication for procedure, and then select a status.
   

3. To document a default procedure, select Default Documentation.
   The Bivalve speculum was placed in the vagina and Intracervical block was performed checkboxes are selected.
4. Select the procedure description.
5. In the Cervix prepped with section, select the method.
   You can also enter another method in Other.
6. Optional: Select the Intracervical block was performed checkbox.
7. In the Endocervical sampling with section, select the sampling method.
   You can also enter other method in Other.
8. Optional: Select the Endometrial biopsy performed checkbox.
   Note: You can select the Endometrial Biopsy link to document the endometrial biopsy details.
9. In the Hemostasis obtained with section, select the hemostasis obtained method.
   You can also enter another method in Other.
10. Select the Specimen sent to pathology or Unable to obtain sufficient sample option.
11. Optional: Select the Patient tolerated procedure well checkbox.
