Document Pediatric Confidential History

You can document the confidential history of a pediatric patient.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. To open the Peds Confidential History - Substances template, do one of the following:
   • In the Social panel on the Histories template, click the Confidential History link.
   • In the History Summary panel on the Intake template, click the Confidential link.
     

3. In the Substances section, enter the alcohol and drug history.
4. In the Psychiatric/Placement section, enter the psychiatric history and past incarceration details.
5. In the Sexual Practices section, enter past sexual practices, sexually transmitted infections, and comments from a parent, guardian, and/or the provider.
6. In the Child Abuse section, enter details of the child abuse history and comments from the historian.
7. Click Save & Close.
