Document Office Procedures

You can place orders using the Office Procedures template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. In the Assessment/Plan panel, select Office Procedures. Select an assessment, select an appropriate procedure, and then enter the details. Select Place Order. Note: If you order medications on the My Plan template, the drug interaction and allergy check are performed when you place the order that enabling you to acknowledge each interaction and allergy. However, first run the Medications_NDCID_Notmapped report to identify National Drug Codes (NDC) for medications not mapped and map them to the NDC Library. Document an Assessment Plan

You can document patient plan and provider plan details for the patient's assessment. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. Open the Intake template, select the specialty as Family Practice and the visit type as Office Visit, and then select My Plan. Select the A/P Details tab.The Assessment Plan Details template opens. Select an assessment from the Today's Assessment grid.The existing assessment details appear in the corresponding fields. Enter the details or use My Phrases or Common Phrases for the impression, differential diagnosis, and patient and provider plans in the respective sections. To enter follow-up appointment and disposition information, select Follow Up. To document counseling educational details and factors, select the Counseling Details. Document Follow-up Details

You can enter follow-up appointment and disposition details on the Follow-up/Disposition template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. In the Assessment / Plan panel, select the Follow Up button.The Follow-up/Disposition template opens. Follow-up/Disposition template The Follow-up/Disposition template is part of a group of templates that use the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates in the group as the working assessment. The application defaults to the current working assessment. If required, you can select another assessment, which becomes the new working assessment that carries forward to the other templates in the group. Do one of the following: Select the diagnosis in the grid. In the Follow-up section, select follow up along with other details and the suggested time for the follow-up visit. Document an Office Procedures Order

You can document point of care tests for a patient in the Office Procedures template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. Open the Intake template, select the specialty as Family Practice and the visit type as Office Visit, and then select My Plan. The My Plan window opens. Select the Office Procedures tab.The Office Procedures template window opens. Select an assessment from the Today's Assessments grid.The diagnosis details linked to the assessment appear in the corresponding fields. You can update them as required. Note: You can select Add or Edit to update the assessment details. Select a point of care test.The office service details appear in the corresponding fields. You can update them as required. Add Orders on the Order Management Template

You can add orders from the Order Management template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Home Page template, select the Order Management link.The Order Management template opens. Document a Treatment Plan

You can document treatment plan for a patient. Before you begin You must enter a diagnosis for the patient before documenting a treatment plan. Open the ASC - Physician Procedure template. In the Assessment / Plan panel, select the My Plan link.The My Plan template opens. If required, select the assessment in the Today's Assessments field.The My Plan template, which is part of a group of templates, uses the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates in the group as the working assessment. The system defaults to the current working assessment. You can select another assessment, which becomes the new working assessment that carries forward to the other templates in the group. The selected assessment appears in the Selected Dx field. The system displays the order set for the associated diagnosis category.
