- Open the ASC - Physician Procedure template.
- In the Assessment / Plan panel, select the Office Procedures link.
The Office Procedures template opens.
- If required, select an assessment.
The Office Procedures template is part of a group of templates that use the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates in the group as the working assessment. The application defaults to the current working assessment. You can select another assessment, which becomes the new working assessment that carries forward to the other templates in the group. The selected assessment appears in the Selected Dx field.
- Select an appropriate procedure and enter the required details.
- Select Place Order.
Note: If you order medications on the
My Plan template, the drug interaction and allergy check are performed when you place the order that enabling you to acknowledge each interaction and allergy. However, first run the
Medications_NDCID_Notmapped Crystal Report to identify National Drug Codes (NDC) for medications not mapped and map them to the NDC Library. For detailed information on running

After you place orders, you can select the A/P Details tab to open the Assessment Plan Details template. On the Assessment Plan Details template, you can select an assessment and then enter the comment, differential diagnosis, plan details, provider details, or today's orders. You can use My Phrases or Common Phrases (practice-wide phrases), and place follow-up orders.
