Document Intake Workflow

You can document the Intake workflow in the General, Reason for Visit, Vital Signs, Medications, Allergies, Orders, and Review of Systems. The Intake staff enters information on the Intake template. The Pregnancy Outcome sub-navigation link displays on the Home Page, Intake, and Postpartum templates. Intake template Select postpartum check as the reason for visit. Enter vital signs in the Vital Signs panel. Review medications in the Medications panel. Review allergies in the Allergies panel. Select General ROS - Female in the Review of Systems panel. The ROS - Female template opens. If the provider has saved a list of questions to ask, select L. If a provider’s pre-set list of questions is used, ask each question and change the answer from negative to positive as appropriate. Document the Obstetrics Postpartum Visit

You can document the OB Postpartum Visit template by using the Postpartum tab. You can document a routine OB postpartum visit using the OB Postpartum Visit template. You can document the routine OB postpartum visit without navigating to other templates, using the OB Postpartum Visit template . You can easily open any additional templates directly from the OB Postpartum Visit template. Wherever possible, the OB Postpartum Visit template fields maps to their corresponding fields in the other templates. The Postpartum template contains the following seven panels: General Reason for Visit Pregnancy Outcome Vital Signs Physical Exam Assessment/Plan Return Appointment Postpartum template Enter Information in the OB Postpartum Visit Template You can enter information in the OB Postpartum Visit template. Document Pregnancy Outcome

You can document the pregnancy outcome in the Pregnancy Outcomes template in the Postpartum tab. Providers use and complete the postpartum template. Select the Postpartum tab. Select Pregnancy Outcome link.The Pregnancy Outcomes template opens. Pregnancy Outcomes template Note: The nurse or medical assistant uses the link and the provider uses the panel to document instead. On the Pregnancy Outcome panel, you can highlight a line in the pregnancy grid and print out a summary of this pregnancy in a newly-created document. This is done when all of the information is entered for the particular pregnancy by the provider. Document the pregnancy entry type, pregnancy number, and termination type/type of delivery at a minimum. However, you can also select to enter the date, sex of the baby, whether full term or preterm, and complications. Documenting Obstetrics Postpartum Visits

You can enter postpartum details in the OB Postpartum template. The OB Postpartum template is used during a postpartum visit. To document a postpartum visit, you must select Obstetrics as the specialty and OB - Postpartum or Document Pregnancy Outcome as the visit type. Note: The OB Postpartum visit type can only be used after every pregnancy. If a patient is seen for a wound check after delivery, you must select the Post-Operative Visit. If a patient has just delivered and the practice want to document the details of the delivery immediately, you can select the Document Pregnancy Outcome visit type. The OB Postpartum template includes the addition of the Postpartum Details and Pregnancy Outcome panels. Compiling this data into a single template improves the workflow. Document Postpartum Details

You can enter information in the Postpartum Details - HPI template. Select the Postpartum tab. Expand the Reason for Visit panel. Select the Additional / Manage link.The Reason for Visit window opens. Select the postpartum check option in the Reason for Visit template. Select Save & Close. Select postpartum check from the Reason for Visit grid. In the Postpartum Check section of the Postpartum Details – HPItemplate, select the applicable options in the Postpartum Details, Additional Details, Screening, Resumed Activities, and Postpartum Incision subsections.If you select the All others negative checkbox, the No option is selected for all. Note: When you select the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale link and enter information in the Edinburgh Depression template, if the score is high for postpartum depression, the Screening option for postpartum depression is no longer available in the Postpartum Details- HPI template. Patient's General Information

You can use the General panel to enter a patient's general information. You can document a patient's general information on the Intake template. General Information Section on Intake When someone provides the patient details, you can document the historian details in the Historian field. When someone interprets the patient’s communication, you can select the Interpreter Details link to document the details of the interpreter. You can select Configurable Questionnaires link to document the screening details of the patient. You can select the Transitioning into Care link to document the summary of care record information for a patient. You can select the Enable HCC for this patient check box to hide or show the HCC links, badges, and grid columns on the templates at the patient level.
