The Manage Selected Order section is used to dispense, restock, and administer medicines and add additional SIGs.
 
 
  - Highlight the medication in the grid.
   
    If you have not configured the selected medications in the
 Medication Configuration system template, an alert message appears. 
    
    
  - If the medications are configured in the Medication Configuration template, it updates the Order, Lot number, Expiration date and other fields.
   
 
  - If there is an Additional SIG available, click the Additional SIG checkbox.
 
  - Click the Additional SIG category and Additional SIG field and select an option from the list.
 
  - Click the Dispensed option.
 
  - Enter the Quantity dispensed.
 
  - Enter Comments.
 
  - Select a SIM code.
 
  - Click the Diagnosis code field.
 
  - Select a diagnosis code.
 
  - Click Save & Task.
   
    The Select Task Recipients window opens.
   
 
  - Click OK.
   
    An alert message displays if you want to task it to yourself.
   
 
  - Click Yes.
   
    A task is sent to your Inbox and an alert message appears notifying you how many refills are remaining for this patient depending on the quantity dispensed.
