Configure Sub Headers Without the Conditions

In the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template, you can configure sub-headers for the Past Medical History, Past Surgical History, and Family History without selecting any conditions. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand any of the following panels: Past Medical History Past Surgical History Family History Note: The fields marked with an asterisk(*) are mandatory. To configure the sub-headers for a specialty, select Specialty and select the specialty from the list. If you want the sub-header items for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. To clear the value from the Practice field and start over, select Clear. Select the Sub Header option. Note: Do not select a condition from the Condition field. To configure sub-header for a specific gender, click Gender and select a gender from the list. Select Body system name and select a body system from the list to link to the sub-header. If required, in Sub

Modify the Medical Conditions

In the Past Medical History panel, you can update the medical conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Past Medical History panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the medical conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view medical conditions configured for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. Select a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid.The grid displays medical conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Past Medical History panel, see Filter the Medical Conditions. Highlight a condition in the grid to be modified. The data populate in the fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields, and then select Update.The updated conditions appear in the grid. The Family History panel enables you to update the family history conditions in the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. Select a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid.The grid displays family health conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Family History panel, see Filtering the Family Health History Conditions. Highlight a condition in the grid to be modified.The data appears in the fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields, and select Update.The changes are updated in the grid. To configure the specialty-specific surgical conditions, select Specialty and select a specialty from the list. To configure the surgical conditions for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. To clear the value from the Practice field and start over, select Clear. Select Sync Specialty and practice on all panels to synchronize the selected Specialty and Practice values on the following panels: Past Medical History Management Items Family History Select one of the following Type options to select the type of condition: Standard Sub Header Sub-item - If you select Sub-item, a list of configured sub-headers appears. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Management Items panel. To configure the specialty-specific management items, select Specialty and select a specialty from the list. To configure the management items for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. To clear the value from the Practice field and start over, select Clear. Select Sync Specialty and practice on all panels to synchronize the selected Specialty and Practice values on the following panels: Past Medical History Past Surgical History Family History Select Management and select a management item from the list.The list includes the PMH Management items configured in the Conditions and Management Configuration panel. Remove a Family Health History Condition

The Family History panel enables you to remove a family health condition from the grid. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Family History panel. Select Specialty and select a specialty from the list.The grid displays the family health conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view family health conditions configured for a specific practice, select Practice and select the practice from the list. Select a Filter above the grid to filter data in the grid.The grid displays family health conditions associated with the selected filter condition. For more information on how to filter conditions in the Family History panel, see Filter the Family Health History Conditions.
