Configure Resulted Lab Tests

The configured lab result appears in the Result Details picklist for Order Management.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template.
    The Select Template window opens.
  3. Select Configuration Home, and then click OK.
    The Custom DB Picklist template opens.
  4. Select Coded lab order result DB picklist.
  5. Click Configure.
    The Custom DBPicklist Setup window, the grid displays the existing code system, code value, and result.
  6. To add the code system and its value, do the following:
    1. Click Add New List Item.
      The Add button is enabled.
    2. To add a code system, enter the code type in the Code System field.
    3. To add the result details, enter the appropriate value in the Result field.
    4. To add code value, enter the numeric value in the Code Value field.
    5. Click Add.
      The added lab result details appear in the grid.
  7. To update a record, select and edit the record, and then click Update.
  8. To delete a record, select the record, and then click Remove.
  9. Click Close.
