Open Coded Lab Order

The results configured in the coded lab order result appear in Result Details in Order Management. You must ensure to add the codes in the manage template links. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Select Configuration Home, and then click OK.The Custom DB Picklist template opens. Select one of the Dbpicklist Name: To add codes related to chlamydia, select Coded lab chlamydia. To add codes related to gonorrhoeae, select Coded lab gonorrhoeae. To add codes related to HIV and Syphilis, select Coded lab order result. The Configure button is available. Click Configure.The Custom DBPicklist Setup window opens. Managing Tests and Test Results

You can place lab orders and review tests through the Testing and Results panel on the Title X 2.0 template. You can view lab orders and results for HIV, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Pap, and HPV. Title X Testing and Results panel You can order a lab test using the Order module. You can document the order result and add any additional details through Order Management. Configure Resulted Lab Tests

The configured lab result appears in the Result Details picklist for Order Management. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Select Configuration Home, and then click OK. The Custom DB Picklist template opens. Select Coded lab order result DB picklist. Click Configure. The Custom DBPicklist Setup window, the grid displays the existing code system, code value, and result. To add the code system and its value, do the following: Click Add New List Item. The Add button is enabled. To add a code system, enter the code type in the Code System field. To add the result details, enter the appropriate value in the Result field. To add code value, enter the numeric value in the Code Value field. Click Add. The added lab result details appear in the grid. To update a record, select and edit the record, and then click Update. Add Lab Tests in the Order Module

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient and create an encounter. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. On Top Toolbar, select Templates. On the main menu, select File > New > Template. The Select Template window opens. From the Select All template, open Title X 2.0 template. On the Title X 2.0 template, expand the Testing and Results panel. Click the Orders Module link. The Order Module window opens. In the Orders Summary tab, click Labs. From the New menu, select Lab Order. The Create New Lab Order window for the selected patient opens. In Performing Entity, select Labcorp. In the Select Tests section, click Search All. The Search Tests window opens. In Test description,enter HIV, and then click Find. Select a relevant option from the search result, and then click OK. Click Save. Manage Orders using Order Management

For more information on Order Management, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download Getting Started User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient and create an encounter. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following: On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template. Enter Test Results from a Medical Records Template

The Result order control on a Medical Records template, displays the New Results Entry tab from the Orders module. This tab enables you to manually add and save test results for a lab or radiology order. It displays the order number and panel name. Note: You must have permission to add test results; otherwise, the results are not visible. To display the order number and panel name, a trigger must be set up to assign the order number to the order control field. If it is not, the New Results Entry tab is blank. For more information on order test results, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Orders Module User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Enter comments (if any) in the Panel Comment box. To enter a collection date and time, select the Coll. Date/Time field, select the list to display a calendar, and then select the applicable date and time in the calendar. Select the test result status from the Result Status list. The default is Final. Select New Result
