Add Lab Tests in the Order Module

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Select a patient and create an encounter.
  3. To open the Templates module on a patient encounter, do one of the following:
    • On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template.
    • On Top Toolbar, select Templates.
    • On the main menu, select File > New > Template.
    The Select Template window opens.
  4. From the Select All template, open Title X 2.0 template.
  5. On the Title X 2.0 template, expand the Testing and Results panel.
  6. Click the Orders Module link.
    The Order Module window opens.
  7. In the Orders Summary tab, click Labs.
  8. From the New menu, select Lab Order.
    The Create New Lab Order window for the selected patient opens.
  9. In Performing Entity, select Labcorp.
  10. In the Select Tests section, click Search All.
    The Search Tests window opens.
  11. In Test description,enter HIV, and then click Find.
  12. Select a relevant option from the search result, and then click OK.
  13. Click Save.
    The ordered lab details become available on the Title X 2.0 template and Order Management.
