Configuration Options in Default Month and Day Section

You can select the date format by using the configuration options in the Default Month and Day section. Default Month and Day section In the Past Medical History templates, if you enter the date in MM/YYYY or YYYY format, the entered values are validated based on the month (MM) and day (DD) configuration that is defaulted to 01/01. However, the month (MM) and day (DD) values can also be set from the practice configuration template, and the date is validated based on the revised configuration. Telephone Communication

If you select the Launch Telephone Communication checkbox, the system opens the Telephone Communication template instead of the Telephone Call template from left Navigation, sub-navigational links, and navigational tabs available on all the specialties templates. Add Timeout Elements for Ambulatory Surgery

Although all specialties are available in the Specialties list, the preset configurations available on the practice template are applicable only to the Ambulatory Surgery specialty templates. On the Procedure Timeout Configuration template , click the Specialty field to select Ambulatory Surgery. Click the Panel field to select a template. Click the Timeout element field to type a new baseline timeout element for the template selected in the Panel field. Note: A maximum of 12 timeout elements can be included in each panel. Click Add. To move the position of the timeout elements in the grid, select a row and click the up or down sorting arrow. Click Save, and then close the practice template.
