Configure Client Checkboxes

You can configure up to three client checkboxes for various sections of the Intake and SOAP templates.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. From File, select System \ Practice Template.
  3. On the System tab, select the All option.
  4. Select Framework Content, and then select OK.
  5. Expand the Client Configurations - Panels, Buttons, Checkboxes panel.
  6. To filter the data in the grid, select the applicable template and card name for the checkbox configuration grid.
  7. Select a record from the checkbox configuration grid.
    The record details automatically appear in the corresponding fields.
  8. In CheckBox Caption, enter a label for the checkbox.
  9. In Display Text, enter the statement to appear on the master document.
  10. From Sort Order, select the display order of the button.
  11. To hide the client checkbox temporarily, select the Hide checkbox.
  12. Select Update.
