Button/Links	Description
Add	Allows the provider to add any new allergy information.
Update	Opens the Medication Allergies module that allows you to manage the existing allergy information.
Reviewed, no change	Allows you to indicate that the allergy information is reviewed without any changes.
Comments	Allows you to add comments associated with patient's allergy.

Buttons and Checkboxes in Medication Panel

The following buttons and links are available in the Medication panel. Button/Links Description Add/Update Opens the Medication module that allows you to review and make changes to the existing medications. Prescribe New Allows the provider to add any new medications. Reconcile Opens the Medication Review template, allowing the provider to verify medications for reconciliation and document medication compliance. Adding and Reviewing Allergies

You can add and review the allergy details associated with a patient in the Allergies panel. You can add an allergy and its reaction on the Allergies panel. You must add the severity level on the Medication Allergies module which then displays the severity level in the Reaction (Severity) column in the Allergies panel. On the Medication Allergies module, you can select multiple reactions and the respective severities for each allergy. Allergies You can select the No known allergies checkbox to indicate that the patient does not have any known medication allergies. You can select the Reviewed, Updated checkbox to indicate that the allergy details are reviewed and updated during the encounter You can select the Reviewed, no change checkbox to indicate that the patient does not have new details to add. Allergies

The Allergies grid displays the patient’s allergies and reactions entered through the Medication Allergies module. The Reviewed check box above the grid indicates that allergies have been reviewed. The None check box is automatically selected if no allergies are listed. Review and Reconcile Allergies

The Allergies panel shows the patient's allergy information documented by the Intake staff. You use this panel to review and reconcile a patient’s allergies. The Add button enables you to add any new allergy information. You can also edit or delete the existing allergy information by double-clicking a row in the grid and making the required changes in the Medication Allergies template. If the allergy information is reviewed without any changes, click the Reviewed, no change option. Document New Allergies for a Patient

In the Allergies panel on the Intake template, if the patient reports a new allergy since the last visit, click Add. The Adult Allergies template opens. Select the applicable check boxes and then select the associated reaction from the corresponding list. Click Save & Close. (Optional) Click the Allergies added today option. If the patient's allergy is not available in the Adult Allergies template, click Update in the Allergies panel to open the Allergies module and document the patient's allergies. In the Allergies panel, the Comment link opens the Allergy Comments template to add any additional information on the documented allergies. You must not enter patient allergies manually in the Allergy Comments template. Enter all allergies in the Allergies module.
