Button/Links	Description
Add/Update	Opens the Medication module that allows you to review and make changes to the existing medications.
Prescribe New	Allows the provider to add any new medications.
Reconcile	Opens the Medication Review template, allowing the provider to verify medications for reconciliation and document medication compliance.
Comments	Allows you to enter any comments on medications.

Patient's Medications Review by Provider

Reconcile Medications

The Medications Review template enables you to reconcile medications listed for the patient with the medications the patient is taking and how the patient is taking them. The Medications Review template has three panels: Reconciliation type – has a check box that indicates if reconciliation was completed manually and has an Electronic Reconciliation button. To use electronic reconciliation, you must have a CCDA document or medication record to import. Medication Module– displays all medications that were added from the Medications module. Medication Review– displays current medications pending review in the Medication List and reviewed medications appear in the Medication Review grid. Buttons and Checkboxes in Allergies Panel

The following buttons and links are available in the Allergies panel. Button/Links Description Add Allows the provider to add any new allergy information. Update Opens the Medication Allergies module that allows you to manage the existing allergy information. Reviewed, no change Allows you to indicate that the allergy information is reviewed without any changes. Comments Allows you to add comments associated with patient's allergy. Provider Medication Review and Update

Providers can review and update the patient's list of medications on the Medications panel. If the patient is not currently taking any medications, select the No medications this encounter check box. To filter the medications displayed in the Medications grid, select one of the following options. All - displays all active medications for the patient Ocular - displays only active ocular medications Systemic - displays only active systemic medications Select the Include inactive check box to display both active and inactive medications for the patient. Click the Add/Update button to add or update medication information. Click the Reconcile button to launch the Medication Review template to perform a review or reconciliation of the patient's medications. To indicate patient status, such as when performing a medication review or reconciliation, select the appropriate check boxes. Reconcile Medications Manually

Use the Medications Review panel on the Medications Review template to reconcile medications manually. Note: If no manual reconciliation has taken place, the Manual Reconciliation check box in the Reconciliation type panel is unchecked; as soon as you reconcile any medication manually, the box is selected and fields open for you to enter additional data. Medication Review template Click the Reconcile button below the Medications grid to open the Medication Review template. If the patient is taking all medications in the Medication List grid as directed, click the Review All – Taken As Directed button to move them all into the Medication Review grid. If not, skip to step 3. Select the check box Review – adherence at the top of the Medication Review panel. The drop-down field selection defaults to “taking as directed”. In the Medication List, click on any medication that the patient is taking as directed. Medications that you select move to the Medication Review grid with that adherence

Buttons and Checkboxes in Problem List Panel

The following buttons and checkboxes are available in the Problem List panel. Button/Checkbox Description Add/Update Allows you to make changes to the documented problems by highlighting the problem in the grid. In addition, Add/Update allows the provider to add a new problem. Clear Allows you to clear the data entered in the fields. Reviewed Allows the provider to indicate that the review of the patient's documented problem is complete.
