Configuring Diagnosis Assessments and Status

You can configure diagnosis statuses and assessments on the Card Setup DAP Assessments window. The Diagnosis Status section lists assessments that can be used with any diagnosis. The Diagnosis Assessment section lists assessments that can only be used with a specific diagnosis, as indicated by the Diagnosis Group. Manage Diagnosis Statuses You can manage diagnosis statuses on the Card Setup DAP Assessments window. Add Diagnosis Assessments You can add diagnosis assessments on the Card Setup DAP Assessments window. Modify Diagnosis Assessments You can modify diagnosis assessment using the Card Setup DAP Assessments template in the System / Practice template. Configuration Options in Assessment Section

You can configure multiple assessment options available in the section. The configuration in the Assessment section applies to diagnosis fields. Assessment section The Assessment section allows you to configure the following options: Assessment Status - If you select the Require Assessment Status checkbox: The provider must select the assessment status to add the assessment in the Today's Assessments grid on the run-time Add or Update Assessment template. The Status field on the Diagnosis, Assessment/Plan History template becomes mandatory, and the system displays a message stating that the status is mandatory in red font. Also, Copy All Dx/AP on the Diagnosis, Assessment/Plan History template will be hidden. Assessment and Plan Details

The A/P Details link in the left side navigation opens the Assessment/Plan Details and Treatment template. Use this template to add as many impressions, comments, differential diagnoses, and patient and provider’s plans for a diagnosis, as necessary. Grids in Add or Update Assessment Template

You can add or update the assessment template. The Add or Update Assessment template includes the following grids. Grid Description Today’s Concerns/Reasons for Visit Displays the concern or reason of visit. Billing Diagnosis History Displays a list of active diagnoses for this particular patient. Clinical Problems Displays a list of all active problems that have been entered into the Problems module for this patient.
