Add or Update Assessment Template

You can open the Add or Update Assessment template using the Assessments link in the My Plan template. The Add or Update Assessment template allows you to add and update assessments. Findings Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The Findings panel allows you to document additional findings associated with a procedure. The findings are configured on the Procedure Documentation Config practice template. For more information on configuration of procedure findings, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Procedure Documentation Config Practice Template User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Note: The additional findings documented in this panel do not display in the Documentation panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template and vice versa. To document additional findings for a procedure, you need to select a procedure in the Procedure panel. After you select a procedure(s), the Findings panel displays the first procedure in the Reason for Visit section. The Reason for Visit section includes the left and right arrows to go to the previous and next procedure. Reason for Visit Panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure Template

The Reason for Visit panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template allows the provider to document the chief complaints of the patient. Note: The Reason for Visit options are dependent on the specialty selected. Reason for Visit The procedure details documented in the Procedure panel appear in the Reason for Visit panel. Note: If you remove any reason for visit by selecting the Additional/Manage link, then the reason is deleted from the Reason for Visit panel and not from the Procedure panel, and if you update any existing procedures in the Procedure panel, then a new record is added in the Reason for Visit panel. In the Reason for Visit panel, if you select the Do not launch HPI checkbox and then select a reason, the system displays the selected reason in the grid without opening the HPI template. You can document the patient's diagnosis, lab orders, plan details, referrals, medications, and immunization details using the My Plan template. Order Diagnostic Tests by AUC Score on My Custom Plan

You can generate an AUC score for an advanced imaging test on the My Custom Plan template if appropriate use criteria (AUC) has been configured and the orders meet the AUC criteria. If an advanced imaging order meets the appropriate use criteria (AUC), the My Custom Plan template saves the following information: the name of the qualified Clinical Decision Support Mechanism (CDSM) vendor, the ordering provider's National Provider Identification (NPI), the AUC score and the time the AUC was run, the reference number, the order date, and the G code and modifier. The captured information prints on the requisition document. If the advanced imaging order does not meet the AUC (for example, an AUC score of less than three), you can do the following: Accept the score and proceed. If the configuration for AUC certification is set up correctly, you cannot proceed without accepting the AUC score.
