Add Coded Results Mapping Records

You can add mapping records by using the Coded Results Mapping template.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. From File, select System \ Practice Template.
   The Select Template window opens.
3. On the Practice tab, select the All option.
4. Select Coded Results Mapping, and then select OK.
   The Coded Results Mapping template opens.
5. In Source Table and Source Field, select the applicable sources from the list.
   Note: Many templates contain data fields shared from an originating source template. The source table name and data field names must be specified to map the data fields correctly to their code values.
6. Do one of the following:
   • To map a value with a code, enter the value in Field Value.

   • To map any value with a specific code, select the Map any Value checkbox.

   • To map a range of values with a specific code, enter the value range.
     Note: You can map only a specific value or a range of values. If you map a second value type, NextGen® Enterprise EHR deletes the previously mapped value.
7. Select the code system.
8. Enter a code value corresponding to the selected code system.
   The specified code is mapped to the field value.
9. Select Question or Answer to view the mapped code, or select N/A.
   Note: The Mappings link is available when you select the Question option.
10. Enter any additional identifying information in Comments.
11. Select Add.
    The grid displays the added coded results mapping record.
