Restore Coded Results Mapping Records

You can restore the removed mapping records any time. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Coded Results Mapping template, select the Show removed checkbox.The grid displays the removed records. Edit Coded Results Mapping Records

You can modify a coded results mapping record. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Coded Results Mapping template, filter the grid records to view the record that you want to edit. Select the record.The data fields in the Add/Update Coded Results Mapping section show the data from the record. Add/Update Coded Results Mapping Make the desired changes. Access the Coded Results Mapping Template

You can access the Coded Results Mapping template by performing the following steps. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. In Select Template, in the Practice tab tab, under Show, select All. Select Coded Results Mapping , then select OK.The Coded Results Mapping template opens. Options to document Coded Results Mapping template View Coded Results Mapping Records You can filter the Coded Results Mapping grid to view the desired sets of records or limit the grid to selected records. View Mapping Records of a Table and Field You can filter the mapping records to a specific table and field. Copy Coded Results Mapping Records

You can copy the coded results mapping records defined for a practice to the other practices in your enterprise. You need to create the mappings for one practice only; you do not need to recreate the mappings for all practices. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Coded Results Mapping template, select the Copy records to practice field.The Practice window displays the practices in your enterprise. Select a practice, and select OK.The selected practice appears in the Copy records to practice field. Select Copy.The Copy records window appears asking to confirm the action. Add Coded Results Mapping Records

You can add mapping records by using the Coded Results Mapping template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Coded Results Mapping, and then select OK.The Coded Results Mapping template opens. In Source Table and Source Field, select the applicable sources from the list. Note: Many templates contain data fields shared from an originating source template. The source table name and data field names must be specified to map the data fields correctly to their code values. Do one of the following: To map a value with a code, enter the value in Field Value. To map any value with a specific code, select the Map any Value checkbox. To map a range of values with a specific code, enter the value range. Note: You can map only a specific value or a range of values. If you map a second value type, NextGen® Enterprise EHR deletes the previously mapped value. Select the code sys

Remove a Mapping

You can remove a mapping at any time. The removed mappings are not deleted, but are disabled and do not appear on the Exceptions/Measures template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Coded Results Mapping template, expand the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel. Select a mapping in the grid that you want to remove.The data fields display data from the selected mapping, and the Remove button is enabled. Select Remove.The selected mapping record is removed and decreases the record count by one. Note: To view the removed mappings, select the Removed option above the grid.
